It's funny to think about this--on my next birthday, I will have been with hubby half my life. Wow.
Time flies when one's hubby spoils her terribly--or is that beautifully? ;) I have to say the last five years were easier than some in the middle. I'm thinking the next 10 ought to be a piece of cake. There's nothing left to argue about. Is there?
My grandparents were married 62 years. My in-laws just had their 50th. My son just got engaged. And life moves on.

Congratulations on your anniversary!
Isn't it wonderful to make that milestone? You seem to have a long line of solid marriages in your family. Good job continuing the trend!
On the 29th, my DH and I will have made it 30 years. Yes, some years are hard, but every one of them is worth the effort!!!

52 years---wow! Congrats!
Silver huh? Like the hairs I'm getting?
My daughter said she'd do chores so we'd would be like "normal" people and go away for at least a night, but there's no where we'd rather be than home. I haven't slept away from here since 2001--and that was only one night. BUT, we are going to go out to eat to the Belhurst Castle in Geneva, NY in a few days. Oh boy--this is a step up from our usual Denny's. I hope I'll know what the menu is talking about.
