I have been looking for drapes for my bedroom and they are just too expensive. Last week at SA I found these 2 bolts and one was perfect for drapes, the other I bought just because..lol Anyway, I have way more than I need so Im going to post the rest on craigslist, but I dont know what kind of material they are. The first one was very hard to get a picture, when I got close with the zoom it washed out all the color. One of the pics shows the front and the back, the only label I could find was something handwritten and it looks like VePetit or something like that. It is not upholstery material, too thin for that and it has a "sheen". It is 62 inches wide. The other is thicker than the first and is embroidered flowers. Ive also shown a pic of the back of it. It is 52 inches wide. When I post it I want to do it correctly and have the right material listed but I just dont know what it is, Ive never worked with anything besides quilting material. HELP!! And thanks in advance!!!

I have seen bothof those in our drapery store. I think the gold one is part silk and probably the red also. If I remember right the gold was like $44.00 a yard. I was thinking of buying it to cover some lampshades but never got around to measuring how much I needed. Go to a drapery store and you probably will find it.

If you cant get to a drapery store you could check Fabric.com. They carry lots of this type of fabric.

Looks like silk or shantung.
