Default When you don't know any better ...

... you're fearless! I across an old photo of my first quilt. When I designed it many years ago, I had no clue what it would entail, but plunged ahead. My young cousin didn't know any better and liked it, so that's what mattered. I don't think I would tackle that border today!

Beautiful. Lots of seams (piecing) quite a first quilt!

Isn't it nice to look back and see how we've grown! It looks great by the way!

Great first quilt! It was ambitious but you pulled it off.

You did a great job. Isn't it great that you just move forward not knowing what you'll get into and come out with something wonderful???

Oh my goodness. My first one was full of "Y" seams! I nearly never got it finished. I used to count how many pieces went into a square and that was how I made my decision. I look at that pattern today and say "NO WAY!". My second one was full of Lamoine stars and I hand quilted it in a spider web design. I am older and wiser now thank goodness!
