I saw this as an avitar, tried to duplicate in on my own.. HELP.. I have no idea what I am doing.

using scraps.. the avitar was more blue.. blue boarder and very pretty.

Hello ! Could you PM me?

I finally have my hexi's 1 inch just like the diamonds. not pressed yet.. I'd love your avitar as example again ! Thanks !

Sometimes you just have to sit in a chair and jog in order to get anywhere.

Yours is looking good so far, are you hand piecing it?
The biggest risk is the one not taken

thank you for the compliment. I hand piece as much as possible. I have Parkenson(isms) so machine for me at times is not a good idea. I have no idea how to machine quilt the small diamonds other than a streight stitch top to bottom. My Grandmother's gardens i have offset stitched inside the hexies. This is small. One inch "legs" or sides of hexies and diamonds. The blue was very pretty. I am using from my scraps to not buy facbic. Thanks for the compliment.

It is a form of English paper piecing.
go to you tub there should be lots of video's

I know one of the quilt shops in my area carries the plastic
diamond shapes that you need to make this quilt.
I do know that some people do use freezer paper.

    hope this helps
