It was a pleasure to meet her and chat for a bit. She signed my bag and she had a great area with lots of her notions, patterns and material.

Fabulous! She has always seemed like a really nice person, and she certainly does lots for the quilting world, especially here in WI.

So glad you go to go, and that you shared the trip with the rest of us.

And that is the real Nancy. Some people have taken a photo with the cut out. Isn't she a sweet lady. I'm glad you got to meet her.

Looks like you had fun and also went home with some "new must haves".

The last picture freaked me out. It looked like Nancy peeking out from a curtain watching Nancy. :O

Nice pics.

This is the first year my DH and I have gone to the Madison Quilt Expo, and certainly not our last! Everybody is so friendly and helpful and bustling with Joy! So much to see and learn. It isn't hard to want everything and just stand and drool over all the beautiful quilts, handbags, wallhangings, etc. The Alzheimer's quilt area was just incredible and beautifully done! We both (he is an incredible support system to my expensive hobby) thoroughly enjoyed everything about the Expo, even spending a few (yah, right) dollars we weren't planning on. All worth it and can't wait until next year. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Everyone does such beautiful work! We went on Thursday and are still talking about it.

Oh you lucky woman! I dream of meeting her and have been an admirer of hers for what seems like forever!
