The BAltimore Alblum is all what I call cheaters cloth. Mimi designed it for those of us who can't or won't applique. I merely handquilted around the motifs. The wide borders are crosshatched diagonally. Mimi was allowed to pick and choose from the patterns on the quilts at the Maryland Historial Society. They have a fabulus collection.

She actually teaches a year long class in Baltimore Applique. I have many friends who have taken it. When I took it to the guild for show and tell I told her it was the only way I would be making her Baltimore Alblum Quilt.

You do such beautiful work! I love the colors you picked out on all of them. I also love the quilt in your profile picture. I have 2 beds in the house and I keep making bedsize quilts. I need to reduce the size of mine and make more lap quilts....
