This quilt is for Jo. She is very special to me and my children as she helped me maintain contact with some of our children's family. She likes brown and black. I found it challenging to find a pattern and fabric but I hope this will be what she likes. It uses Moda Vienna Nights brown and black FQs.

Wow! What a great piecing job - and those blocks with the striped fabric sure do look perfectly cut and sewn!

Thank you for your kind words. I hope Jo will feel the same.I am pretty sure she will. I struggled with the black and brown theme fabric so I feel a bit insecure.

Well, if she doesn't like it...........lol

You did an excellent job selecting fabric and piecing. Your striped fabric looks very nice, and that isn't always easy to accomplish.
