Bonnie Hunter's Star Struck
I thought I'd show you the top now, because who knows when I will get it quilted. I have six tops that need quilting. Yikes!
This is one of Bonnie's scrappy patterns. The quilt is about 55" x 65". After I trimmed all 480 of the little triangular "ears" off to make the main pattern, I decided to make them into HSTs and use them for a border. It was a tedious task - the HSTs are 1 1/4" finished. The quilt was made mostly with scraps that I had trimmed to 2 1/2" wide strips previously and a little help from my stash. I did have to buy the tan border.
