I did a music quilt a couple of years ago for my son. Also had trouble finding fabric then. Now I see it in several places. Joann's had two patterns last week. I have also seen it on the internet. google in music pattern fabric and see what shows up.

I found the backing fabric on sale at Joanns so I purchased the black and white notes. Thanks for all the compliments. Took it to quilting guild last night and they liked it too.

Oh, I wish I had known earlier, I ordered some musical notes from Joann's for $6 a yard. I am hoping that 7 yards are enought for back and binding. Should come in today.

Thanks. freehanded it from a refrigerator magnet. It looks pretty good on the quilt
