Default Update on Lover's Knot quilt that almost conquered me...

I finally finished making the blocks for my Lover's Knot pattern, and I still had trouble getting them in the right order! My son helped me out, moving several that I had reversed, and I think the pieces are ready to be sewn together.

It is going to look really good, unless I find some new way to make a mistake. So far I have goofed up every way possible and then some again. I have decided that it is the "on point" part that just messes my mind up completely.

But, I am ready to start connecting the pieces...although I HAVE to clean house first!! Just have to. I am posting a picture in case anyone sees anything my son has missed. You will have to remember that most of the pieces are not sewn together and there will be seam allowances yet and such.

Okay, here it is....ta da!

Very nice! It's easy to see how you could get the squares turned wrong, but if they are now, I can't see it.

So far, soooo beautiful!! How sweet of your son to get you on the straight and narrow path. I have just GOT to try that pattern. I'm not usually a "purple" person, but this one is gorgeous!

Thanks. I am in the middle of cleaning, but it is nice to know that no one has seen any big mistakes!!
