I have done several of these and I really like them, I also did one in purples.

It's a gorgeous quilt! It does look like it would take a lot of concentration to put it together though. You did it! Congratulations.

That is a gorgeous quilt. And my favourite colour too. I got Elenor Burns book but I think it will be a long time before I'll be confident enough to tackle that one. It is such an elegant pattern, I'd just love to have one for my bed. Maybe I can find someone experienced to help me. I'm soooo jealous. Enjoy your beautiful quilt!

It looks great! My brain doesn't do diagonal very well, so I can see why it would be confusing.

No mistakes that I can see. Your dark purple knots are vertical and the lavender knots are horizontal. That is how I check for mistakes on the Lover's Knot pattern. Be sure to be as diligent with numbering the blocks as you do with your Bargello strips.

there are few quilt patterns that i enjoy enough to do more than once. lovers knot is one of them. they can be difficult, it's so easy to turn one block & miss it till you're almost done ) ..yours is beautiful. i love the color. i like the way you took the extra time to balance the pattern created by the outer edges.
