    Default This year's Christmas presents

I gave my family a break and made lap quilts for my three closest friends this year.

Black, White, and "Read" All Over. Marsha's a newspaper reporter and these are scans of some of her articles.

    Diane loves cats.

Sally is a fundraiser for Republican candidates (my opposite!) and the fabric is an African print with elephants. They look red in the picture, but they're brown.

The dog bed is for Charlie, Sally's beloved Bichon.

I resized the pictures using Patrice's suggested measurements, but they seem small to me. Now that I've learned how to do it, I'd be glad to resize them again if anyone wants a closer look. They're not too small -- just looked that way when I was posting!

Wow, can I be your friend? Those are wonderful gifts. I especially like the newspaper articles being scanned - such a personal touch.

All your quilts are gorgeous!!! Perfectly designed and sewn. The thought behind them is deep and meaningful too!!!

Awwww, The little Bichon looks like my dear departed little poodle!!! He had a little drinking problem... if his long ear hair touched the water, he wouldn't drink or eat or pick up a ball and he got stuck in corners if his hair touched anything, he was a funny little dog, all 6 pounds of him.

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful work!!!!!!!!!!!

You are very clever to think of all their personal interests. And all your projects look great.

What a blessing to have three very close friends and how blessed they are to be receiving these wonderful gifts. The dog bed is wonderful (smile). Great job on all of them. Thank you for sharing.
