2009 fair contest was for 12 1/2 " squares that reflected the theme "SUNNY DAYS" The year before they only had 6 enties and where going to discontinue it in 09. I got a LQS to join me and sponser it and we had a wonderful turnout. We had enough squares to make 3 quilts with a dozen square each. 2 other people pulled squares that fit a theme and I got what was left over. We will sell raffle tickets for each quilt till august when the fair begin 2010 and on the last day will draw for the quilts. Here's mine, tell me what you think. I will take to the LAQ tomorrow.

I love the way the turquoise pops out. For being the leftovers, they went together very well. Good luck with your raffle.

Good idea to revive it. It's fun to have quilts that have so much variety.
