My day started out Great..DH gone to work, and no Grandkids to watch today. So i got ambitious and clean my house, did the laundry then decided to do my Grandson's quilt. It was all going along so well, i should have known. After getting it all quilted together (stich in the ditch) I wanted to serge the edges as it's got a satin backing and needed satin binding. Half way thru i got my left index finger caught in the serger!!! Don't ask me how i did it I don't know. That has Never happened ever! All afternoon i kept looking at my finger saying "stupid, stupid, stupid" By 5:00 the throbing stopped enough for me to continue so here it is!!!!!! (And i was worried about doing a satin backing) LOL

Ouch! You still managed to make a mighty fine quilt.

I'd be crying like a baby.

So sorry about your accident, but it's a beautiful project. You did a great job. Hope your finger heals quickly. I somehow got my thumb under the presser foot recently and couldn't get it loose, and the needle went threw my nail. Ouch!

Oh I hope you are better. I hope the throbbing is totally gone and doesn't come back. The quilt is darling.
