Very nice quilt! - you sergered your finger..on Sunday I sewed my finger, auniqueview got trapped by her needle...we sure play a dangerous sport!!

My gosh, did you have to turn the wheel to get the needles out? It makes me shiver to think about it. Your quilt is beautiful and i don't know how you kept from getting blood on it. WOW.

Maybe someone else has already mentioned this but you might want to check and see when your last tetanus shot was. Can't be too careful with a puncture wound, especially if it didn't bleed much.

I am so sorry to hear about your finger and hope you are feeling better now. I thought only guys did stuff like that i.e. hurt themselves but keep on going. When I was helping my husband build a compost bin, he hammered his finger, swore and kept on hammering. Later his finger was black & blue and very swollen. Yikes.

I have to admit that my adventure with trapping myself against that needle made a real impression (much too much on one,lol) on me, and I have NOT reached around with my right hand behind the needle again.

Hopefully, by now, your finger is all better. Too bad we don't have machine thimbles.
