I'm making a message quilt for someone whose best friend was murdered. In the message box will be the word "Friend" in different languages. I've done the Google searches for translations, & dictionaries, etc and almost all only give the masculine version of the word.

So I'm asking all my friends here from all over the world for help. If you or a family member speak other languages beside English, I would be grateful for the feminine version of the word "Friend."

I have it in: Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Hebrew, Affricaan, and Thai.

I would like to have: Scots Gaelic, Irish, Welsh, Russian, and any other language I may have forgotten.

Thank you in advance to all of you! :D
