Hi
What do people think of Quiltsmart patterns? Are they easy to use and do you consider this "cheating"?

I would not consider it cheating...there is a whole new learning to curve to understanding the directions and getting it done...

I love them. I think their Lone Star method is genius, and I wish they made them in more sizes.

I don't think it looks like I cheated here:

Its just like paper piecing a Lonestar. I've made 2 using the quiltsmart.

I was thinking of ordering the mariner's compass and double wedding ring. I found a website that has them 40% off. They have the mini compass, not the larger one..

I would love the name of that website. I need to do DWR for my niece.

You'll probably have to order a few packages as it's only the lap size.

To the left is a list of all the other available packages.

I made the lone star with the quiltsmart pattern. Note my avatar. It is a twin and they give instructions for the queen and king size also. Mine is a 58" star. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Yes that is the site. I ordered two DWR.
