Quilted Batik Furniture Covers
3 Attachment(s)
We have been using some Sure Fit furniture covers that were way too big for this delicate furniture, and I finally made some customs covers. I used Tonga Batik in 108" wide and clingy brown flannel on the back. Here are a few photos of the finished couch cover. I am still working on the chair cover.
Basically this is a large rectangle, with smaller rectangles attached to the sides for arm pieces. I free motion quilted each piece with large stippling, fitted them, then trimmed and bound them. I used a few upholstery pins to secure them in place. Voila! |
I love it!!!! I have one from Bed Bath and Beyond that has done well, but I wash it frequently, thus It's time for something else. You have done a great job. Thanks for the idea and much easier on the pocket book:)
