How Often Do You Make Mistakes?

I measure, and measure, I lay the design out on my design wall. Then when I start piecing everything together it doesn't turn out the way I envisioned it in my mind!! Then I'm ripping!

Who me???????

it's not a day if I don't make some kind of mistake

It doesn't sound like you are making mistakes, it sounds like your "artistic vision" is not achieved in the real quilt. This is my life. I can picture it in my head, I draw & color, I drop in fabrics in EQ7. Then I actually piece it and yech! Normally I think I've just been looking at it too long. I don't rip, I just put it away for a few days. Usually looks better after a rest (both me and the quilt).

More often than I like to admit. Most of the time I just call them design choices. :)

hahahahahaha 'THEY' say that we learn from our mistakes. I have 'learned' soooo much! hahahaha

Probably more often than I do things correctly.

If I didn't make mistakes it would mean I wasn't sewing anything. That is why I have four rippers laying there handy.

I make mistakes every time I sew. If I didn't, I would be wondering what was wrong with me. LOL!!

Amen, Sister! Of course, we could call them learning opportunities.
