Power Pressure Cooker XL

Does anyone have any experience with the Power Pressure Cooker XL? I don't plan to can with it, just cooking meals. Are you happy with it? Any advice for using it? Also, any good sources of recipes for it? I haven't received it yet; just ordered it yesterday. Thanks in advance!

This is the one I have and I love it! https://www.amazon.com/Instant-Pot-I...ds=instant+pot I would assume yours would function very similar. The Instant Pot community has a facebook site that people exchange advice and recipes on. Maybe check on there for some tips?

So the power pressure cooker and the instant pot are the same principal? There is a thread on recipes about the instant pot and I wondered what the differences might be, if ant. I was looking into purchasing a power pressure, then this name instant pot came up...I'm confused!

Probably the same principal. The Power Pressure Cooker XL says you can also can in it. Here is the web site for the PPC. http://www.powerpressurecooker.com/shop.php. You can also order them on Bed Bath and Beyond, Amazon, QVC, Wal Mart, etc. I'm thinking there is a learning curve when using one. I don't want my food to come out watery or not done. There is also a Facebook page for them.

I have the Power Pressure XL and absolutely love it, especially being able to throw in frozen meats and cook them quickly without defrosting. There are hundreds of recipes on Pinterest, that's where I look first. I always had trouble cooking rice and this makes great rice of all kinds.

Love mine. Easy to clean and cooks great.

We have had some recent discussions on this - maybe you will get more info from them.

I have one, but have only used it for cooking meats and for canning meat. So far, everything has been very good, though beef seems to take a little longer than their instructions.
