Border?

I am going to add yellow borders to my cat quilt top which is 36 X54. My fabric is about 42 inches wide so I will need to put a seam in the length of the border. I think a straight seam lining up with the center of the top and the blocks would look best. It is yellow so the seam will show up but I think if I SITD the blocks and out into the border it will hide it somewhat. Now my question...will it look best to have the side borders go all the way to the top as in A or bring the top borders over the side borders as in B?

B looks best.

Cute cats! If you are going to SITD through the borders, i don't think you will notice a difference between the two layouts.

For the border arrangement, "B" for me, that's the way I do my borders. Love the gorgeous cats!
