Just have to sew the corners on, add the border and then it's ready to be quilted.

I posted this in another thread with 2 other quilts. Someone had mentioned that the bottom rows looked a little wonky ... and I said yes, they are! Turns out I had forgotten a whole row LOL

At least it was caught before it was all sewn together!

Good save! Isn't it funny how we can miss some huge things sometimes??!!!?

Lovely top, is very rich for a two-color quilt :)

it looks much better now! :)

Very pretty!

I have a small problem LOL ... there is not enough purple at the edges for me to sew a border on without losing the points of my squares.

I have a viable option - turn the squares into half triangles ...

does anyone have any other ideas? is there a way to add purple fabric to the edges without losing my points?

If you deliberately sew a strip to cover the same amount on each on point square, it becomes a new design element. I'd call them deliberately made kite blocks :)

Thanks! I think that's what I am going to have to do. Such a shame that I only figured this out now! Oh well!
