Finish From Last Summer

So, I hate to do binding. I pile the tops up on my bannister until they start to get buried and I finally get around to binding one.
This was all scraps, except for a couple of the solids. It's single sized, as it's eventually for charity. The pattern is called Whirligig. Thanks for looking! Watson |
Ha. love that. I sent that to my friend in England and she is now on her third. She evidently likes it too!!!
love the bright colors! |
That's an eye catcher -- might have to put that on my list.

Love your quilt. Shame you don’t live near me. I enjoy doing binding and look forward to that part of quilting. It’s sort of saying “when this is finished another one completed.”

Cute pattern...I love to do binding!

Lovely happy quilt!

Love it. I have the pattern printed out and it’s on my to do list.

I hate the hand stitching of binding so perfected the machine version of stitching on the backside, then top stitching from the front. It is fast and easy and secure for those drag around kid quilts too. I don't show any of my quilts so it works for me.
I love your bright eye catcher. Some charity will love it. |
Watson, I know what you mean. I wouldn't mind binding as much if I could machine sew both sides but I can't because it never comes out right. So I sew the back by hand. I should watch some videos on that subject.
Your quilt is wonderful! I love that secondary design of hourglasses. Such a happy quilt! |
