I finally figured out how to keep my foot pedal in place. I tried a lot of suggestions, none of which worked for me.
What finally works is using a small bathroom mat -- the kind that fits around the commode bottom -- turned so that the foot petal fits into the U-shaped cutout. I haven't had to chase my pedal since. My apologies if this proves not to be my own sheer genius  but only my subconscious memory of something I read here that only now managed to surface. |
Will try it. Thanks

I'm going to try this. Been chasing my foot pedal all day! Thanks!

i use cabinet liner under my pedals.
|
Yes, that works for me too

Ann Clare, That is a a beautiful Cathederal Window

Good idea! Cabinet liner doesn't stop mine from wandering.

All of my cabinet electrics have knee controllers so I do not have to deal with the pedals on the floor. other than that all of the machines that I use are treadles.
But I really like the knee controls myself you should check into them. Billy |
I bought the
Floor pad made to hold the control. It works! |
I'll have to try that. I've been so frustrated with it that I've even put sticky velcro loops on the bottom of it. That works great as long as I'm on carpet but when I go to classes and there's no carpet it makes it slide even worse.
