Default That annoying potters wheel!

Does anyone else get that annoying potters wheel? Not only does it make me dizzy, it really slows down my computer and I have to wait till the video is complete before I can scroll. Is there a way to get rid of it once and for all?? It's a waste of time, having to watch it every time I click on a new topic.

Sorry, but I have no idea what you are talking about. Does it come up when you turn on your computer or when you go onto the internet? Have you done a google search or gone to the web site of your brand of computer and seen if you can get some online help?

It sounds to me like your computer has slowed down. You need to do some computer cleanup.
Wish I could tell you just what to do but not computer savvy here.

I use Firefox with AdBlocker Plus and see very few ads, and none with motion. What drove me over the edge was the ones with jiggling bellies.

I use Ad Blocker too. Many of us on this site do.

Check to see if Windows Defenders is running in the background. It competes with your current virus program and bogs everything down.

Is this some kind of ad or demo video? What kind of computer are you using and how old is it? Do you have someone who can help you clean up the computer and install ad-blocking software?

Sorry everyone, I should have been more specific. It happens on QB when I click on a thread within a forum. It's one of the ads that pops up at the top of the screen. I use Firefox too; maybe I just need to download Adblocker. I'll give it a try. Thanks, ptquilts!

I just downloaded AdBlocker Plus. No more ads! I'm always leery of downloading anything, but I should have done this sooner!
