Default internet problem with quilting board

Please help. I LOVE this website, but I'm having trouble with it. This has happened in the past, and when I wrote you, you did something to help me. When I click on a segment....usually pictures....but not always, I get a message telling me that Internet Explorer has stopped working and I have to "close the program." I was getting on just fine for months, and now this has started happening all over again.....each and every time. Hope it's something that can be fixed, for I will miss this website dreadfully! Thanks.

This happens to me when my internet connection has been disrupted. I ignore the pop-up and check connections on my laptop/computer. Usually after giving my computer some seconds/minute or so, everything returns to normal. If it doesn't, I close down and reboot. But please know that I am no expert on this .... I know just enough to get myself in lots of trouble. Good luck ... hopefully somebody else will have a better solution.

If you are using IE and it recently updated, you might try viewing it in compatibility mode, you'll find the setting in TOOLS.

Red face Change your browser

I was having the same problem. I switched to Google Chrome and have no problems now. Someone else mentioned Foxfire. Apparently the newer version of IE is not compatible with the Board.

I'm a die-hard IE user, and the newest version is perfectly compatible with the Board if you simply click on tools and put it in the compatibility mode. You only have to do it once, the setting sticks.
