Default Marking threads

Is there a way to mark a thread as already read, so you don't keep opening the same ones?

I use Guterman and they put a moveable bottom so you can pull it out, put the thread in there, and close it. The thread is always on the ready.

I think Penny is asking about the threads or topics here on QB. I don't know of any way to mark them, but there may be something I am not aware of.

If you're entering the site from the main menu I thought they turned a different color. I always go to the top and click 'view first unread'.
