PM sending a photo?

Does anyone know how to send a photo from an iPad in a PM. Usually when I send a photo in a comment it prompts me to get the photo from my camera roll. When I try the same procedure in a PM, it asks for a URL. Can anyone help?

For our protection, you cannot attach a photo to a PM.

Yes, I don't think you can. Wish it would be an option available to us. eBay finally made it possible that you could send a photo in their message center.

I host my pics on Photobucket and then can put it in a PM just fine. It's an extra step, but since I don't post pics very often in PMs it works OK for me.
