that is controlled by your browser, not by the QB software.

Can you point to a way to set the browser so they show a differnt colour? Some messages do and some don't for me. I'm using Internet Explorer on a Win 7 machine.
In your browser software, look for the "Preferences" menu. In mine, it's in the main menu under the name of the software. It should be under a sub-menu about Appearance or something like that.

Please try cleaning out your temp files and cookies. That usually fixes the problem.
