Question Unable to Post Picture

Hi,

I have tried for over 30 in to post a picture without success. I went to the Help section. I do not see an icon that looks like a "framed tree". When I click on a photo in my computer it attempts to load it but says it has failed.
Help!

Are you seeing any kind of squares above where you type text...perhaps one that says font and one that says size? If so, hover over all the rest until you see one that pops the words "insert image" out. That's the one where the "'framed tree" should be showing. If it's not, it will work anyway, IF your picture is one of the formats that the board supports and IF it's below a certain size. If you'd like to PM me for further help, please feel free to.

Hi, I'm not familiar with iPads, but I did a google search using "blue square with question mark", and this is what I found: Usually it means that the image/file is in a format your browser or mail plugins cannot read.

Do me a favor and go to where the picture is, and "right click" (or whatever you do on an iPad), and check the properties of the picture. See what file format it is, and how big it is, and let me know. Thanks.

Help!
you had your editor turned off. i fixed it for you.

members who don't see the icons when they are creating a thread or comment should check their General Settings to make sure they have chosen either the Standard or Enhanced editor. (I prefer the Enhanced option.)

when a photo upload fails it is nearly always because the file is too big.

I tried several times yest. also, and never ever found the photo icon. I even went to settings and saw nothing that looked like it pertained to photos or editor.

Waaaahoooo...was just gonna post this snap of where to check. Will go ahead and post it anyway, maybe it will help others. Click on settings tab up top, then click on general settings on the left hand menu of next page. Scroll down until you see this....then make sure there's a DOT next to "enhanced Interface".
