I read somewhere that on the top of your computer, in the middle at the very top, there is a camera. You can't disable it, but you can put a piece of tape, I used adhesive, over it and that way the camera can't see or hear you. There was a young lady who kept her computer on while she was dressing and the camera picked up what she was doing. Just a FYI, if it's of any help. I'm sorry I can't tell you what it said because mine is covered.

sewellie, thank you. I didn't know what to do other than turn the laptop off. It wouldn't see much if it was watching me, a 71 yo with her nose in a book or a needle in her hand. lol

You need to check ft or a Trojan virus that can access your computer's camera.....you also need to change the passort for booting up you computer and make sure your Internet access is set up with a password. I know if I check available Internet sources,my neighbor's two net works show up, one for their family room and one for their bedroom. If you click on their network it says you need a password. Tha t I should we hat you should have as well, otherwise you neighbor can use your Internet access and perhaps activate your camera.

Do you have another window open? That happened to me. I had left one open and started hearing audio from the videos.

On my laptop, there is a camera. I currently have a little heart sticker over the lens. I don't trust that it can be disabled so I just make sure whoever would try to spy on me can't see anything.

I have tape over my camera too. Don't want to be responsible for someone being frightened to death. Lol
