Sewbizgirl, it will truly be a scrappy quilt...I'm wondering how big it will be finished?

I'm estimating about 50" square. It's really fun to make!

How do you think it would look with a narrow border on the sides and a very wide one at the top & bottom to make it longer? I really would like to make it using my candies but I want it to be longer...

You could do that... or do a few rows of candies on the top and bottom, and then narrow border.

I guess I have to start it in order to wonder about the finish right?

Sewbizgirl, love the greens. So pretty. All these color combinations are wonderful.

I completed part 3 but haven't taken a pic yet. I like my yellow/gold color with the blue star but i need to do some more cutting as many of my yellows are a bit too light. Need some more bolder ones. May get to do a bit of that next week, we'll see. Tonight I worked a bit on the Jacob's ladder. I have 10 blocks left to finish putting together. One good long evening ought to do it for me. Once I do that, I'll take pix of both and post on the proper threads.

Yes Honchey, start one! If you love sewing and piecing you'll have so much fun.

Looking forward to seeing yours again soon, Janice. I'm about to add the pink to mine. Not sure what step that is but I'm pretty sure I'm ahead.
