Since I've never made one is there things I should know to allow? I guess I didn't know they use a paper or card stock base. Whatever is usual for making them is fine with me.

Here is one that I learned from:
http://quilting.about.com/od/quiltpa...c_postcard.htm another http://www.dollyduo.com/Fabric%20Pos...structions.htm Here is a tute I found on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC6-GyD0f6s These help give ideas. I still like using the heavy timtex for the stability. |
Thanks QM for the links. I am sure they will be very helpful for quilters who would like to make an entry.

uh oh. Does this mean we should not use traditional batting? Also when we quilt them, I assume that we don't want the quilt lines showing on the back since then it wouldn't be a postcard, right? Can you tell I never did one of these before?

Looking forward to seeing all those beautiful post cards!! I've never made one but I hope to get some inspiration from all the entries!!

I made one and am contemplating another. In addition to gift tags, they make great tree ornaments!
