Very nice. My SIL would love the butterflies. Did you use a pattern?

quilterella 09-27-2012 10:17 AM

No, no pattern. I couldn't find anything that suited the project. It is dresden fans for the wings with half a fan at the bottom. The bodies I just drew. My sister-in-law loved it, so that is the main thing.

I did some stash busting this weekend. I finished quilting seven of my quilts. I posted them on the UFO thread but if ya need me to here I can. I must have busted at least 10 yards or more of fabric. I have four more in the works to do, but I need to finish a gals quilts first. They are so pretty, applique to quilt. Yum. Some of my favorites.

WOW 7 finished quilts! That is amazing!! Did you long arm quilt them? I finished 2 small lap quilts this week, and I thought that was great!

QuilterMomma 10-02-2012 09:37 AM

Yes, I did my own longarming on them. The one took about 20 hours to do, but worth the effort. the others were not that hard and did not do elaborate custom work on them.
