After seeing your most awesome quilt Quiltermomma, I need to finish my mystery quilt. It is sitting in a tote waiting to be finished.

It went together very quickly. I did not do the flying geese though, did not like how they looked so went with the boot border instead.

Default D9P w/a twist

I got the blocks finished over the weekend and the rows together today...need to buy backing so I can quilt (QAYG) and will add borders. I have made several D9P quilts and needed a couple more blocks for this one so added a "twist" by putting together another block with the fabrics I had extras of. I will use the yellow for the 1st border, large flower print for the 2nd and stripe for binding.

I really like how this turned out so had to share before I got it all the way done.

Love the color combo. Now that you have a picture should be no worries of getting in the wrong order when assembling. Love the use of the left overs. very smart. I love the d9p because it does go quickly and a great way to use up fabrics.

Bev--just looked up the thread and read through many pages. That is a method I have tried...started, but never finished the quilt using it. I was planning to work on that one when this D9P is finished.
