Welcome to the Quilting Board!
"I don't buy vintage quilts. By the time I finish the quilts I've started they've already become antiques." ~ Mark Lipinski

I haven't visited this thread yet but certainly belong here as I have UFOs on top of UFOs. Since I started quilting again a month ago I've finished 4 UFOs. Blended Stars was my 1st finish, and one of my oldest (pieced in 2004). The pattern is Island Star from "More Fat Quarter Quilts" by M'Liss Rae Hawley.
The 2nd quilt "Bees & Cats" will be donated to Project Linus. The blocks are from a Yahoo! Groups block exchange.
Blue Yellow Brick Road is another "oldie". It was quilted by a long arm quilter (as was Blended Stars).
The last project is a Halloween table topper using a Thimbleberries October Glow charm pack and a pattern called Everyday Table Topper from "Charmed and Dangerous" by Anka's Treasures.
Beautiful finishes asimplelife. Love that star one. You are doing well for one month starting back in. Glad to have you with us.

This is a quilt I made last summer to get rid of a ton of leaders and enders...I finished it yesterday for a friend who was just diagnosed with cancer...it will be for warmth during chemo. I FMQ'ed in a meander for him.
So, I Opened My Big Mouth...
missgigglewings--this is a great quilt! Congrats on getting it finished just in time for a need.
Congrats a simplelife, Those are some great finishes.
MissGiggleWings, Another great finish as well. I hope it brings great comfort to your friend.
I think I hear the tinkleing of the bells for you.
10-2-12, the lucky day I became a granny! I just love my Avatar photo. That is my grandson. He has his hands thrown up in childish abandon trying to catch bubbles. Even though you can't see his face clearly, the look on his face steals my heart. It's my favorite.
