I have a similar recipe that uses crushed cheese crackers for rolling. The family and kids really enjoyed it. The pepper stem really makes it IMHO.

I took this along to (Canadian) Thanksgiving at DD's in-law's. It was an absolute hit! I loved seeing DD's MIL going back for 'just one more bite' because she is an outspoken person who seems to enjoy making negative comments. This recipe is definitely a keeper.
