What????? $14/kg????? That's nearly $7/lb here. Wow!! I will never again complain about the price going up to 49 cents a pound! Why are they so expensive there?

Alot of our banana crop was destroyed by cyclones earlier this year, so we are paying a premium at the moment until the banana farms recover. I pay at least $5 for 2 bananas. They are my DD favourite fruit. :? They are saying that the price should come down before summer :thumbup:

Do you know if these could be frozen? I bake cookies for Freedom Cookies and thought maybe these would be something different. Thanks.
