I found this:

http://tastykitchen.com/recipes/brea...kfast-biscuit/

I may have to try making some. I am always looking for something quick and easy for me to eat in the mornings. I am not a breakfast person, but I won't turn down "breakfast" for dinner instead.

Golden syrup (treacle) is a pure cane syrup with a buttery taste. http://www.kingarthurflour.com/shop/...s-golden-syrup

I have Amazon Prime, just ordered some golden syrup, will be here in a couple days. Looking forward to trying these. Also found out how to make it on youtube. We are at such a high altitude here ( 7200 ft) that I didn't want to try to make it.
Also while browsing around I found a recipe for Turkish Delights. Ordered some rose water to make those.

Me too! I buy Maple Syrup from Amazon so added a jar of Golden Syrup this time. I know when subs are made to a recipe it does not taste the same as the original. I bought a jar of Barley Malt for a recipe and cannot find the recipe! I have no idea what to use if for now. LOL
