These are great-tasting!
1 gallon green tomatoes, chopped
1 gallon cabbage, chopped
1 qt. white onions, chopped
1/2 C. salt
1 1/2 qt. water
1 pint vinegar
2 large green peppers, chopped
1 Tbs. pepper
Pack first 4 ingredients in layers in stone crock and leave it for six hours.
Drain in cheesecloth bag overnight. Add water and vinegar and bring to a boil.
Add green peppers and white pepper. Mix thoroughly. Bring to boiling point. Put into sterilizied jars and seal.
