I didn't know you need a recipe for applesauce!! just made some this morning, cook apples, add sugar to taste, what more is there?

Home-made tastes SOOOO much better than the applesauce you buy.

A pinch of salt! Zips up the flavor, and lessens the sugar need. You're right about homemade being better--yum!
