Has anyone made pies using the frozen fruits? I want to make a rhubard and strawberry pie. I was wondering if I would have
to drain the liquids and just follow the recipe as it calls for. I used to make the rhubarb pies using fresh rhubarb.

The strawberries I let thaw in a strainer, and leave till juices are drained. When I don't it often runs over in the oven. I uses frozen rubarb all the time and have never had any problems using it still frozen. Hope this helps.

I have good luck with the bagged frozen fruits. I let the fruit thaw, then thicken with cornstarch. Sprinkle flour over the bottom of the pie shell. Pour thickened fruit and fruit juices into the pie shell. Add top crust, and bake .
Forgot--add sugar!

I let the fruit thaw first and then thicken.
