This is my Hamburger Soup as I make it...

    Brown 1 pound of Hamburger....

Then add the following in the pot

2 cans of pettie diced tomatoes
    4 cans of beef broth
one frozen bag of soup veggies ( mixed is fine too )
    half head of cabbage diced.
    half onion diced
    couple stalks of celery
    2 tablespoons of parsley
    1 tablespoon of crushed basil

    just let it simmer

then add 2/3 cup of ditalini noodles or little bowties

    that is it.................

some times I have to add some water to it....

This sounds really satisfying on a cold fall day. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds sooo good & I can hardly wait for some COOL weather to get here to start making some soups, etc. Your recipe is VERY similar to one I made when I raising 3 kids by my self years ago - was filling, healthy & cheap. (They still ask for it once in awhile when they visit)

Thanks for bringing back some great memories.

Sounds good. Thanks. My husband asked just the other day if we were getting close to "soup weather"?
