I had to laugh, my husband is from Hawaii. In high school it was "the" summer job to harvest pineapple or work in the Dole plant. He HATES pineapple!! LOL

This reminds me of my father-in-law. During the depression he lived on a farm and when they got meat it was only chicken.........he would only eat chicken once in a blue moon.

I'm going to have to check out the recipe......I love coconut cream pie too.
