These sound really good!

I do have a suggestion, though. Cover with a plate or thicker paper towel rather than plastic wrap which can release toxins when heated.

Pork steaks are in every grocery in my area. Arkansas. They are much better then pork chops, always tender and not dried out no matter how you cook them. We usually pan fry them crispy. I'm not that concerned about plastic wrap covering a glass bowl in the microwave and the egg wrappers I bought said gluten free on the label. I don't cook gluten free but I guess the wrappers all are. I cooked the layered steaks on high for about 4 hours or until the potatoes are tender. Too long and the meat falls apart.
