I got two new recipes from my sew group.

I tried both, DH ate seconds of each and I didn't have to spend much time preparing or cleaning up.

Pork in Crockpot

Layer sliced unpeeled potatoes in bottom of crock pot
Layer pork chops (I used pork steaks) on top of potatoes
Layer thick sliced onions on pork chops, salt and pepper
Layer sauerkraut on top to cover. I used the cold packed sauerkraut.
Cover and crock it.

Easy Cauliflower

Take off green leaves. Put whole head of cauliflower in deep bowl, cover with dry Parmesan cheese and seasoning of your choice. Cover with plastic wrap and put in microwave for about 10 min or until tender. (microwaves vary) Add big spoon and serve in bowl. Look good sitting on table too.

Another cooking tip I haven't tried to make yet but ate a lot.

Use egg roll wrappers to fill with stewed fruit, fold over seal with water, spread top with melted butter, bake on greased baking sheet at 350 degrees until golden brown. We ate two baking sheets of these at sew day. LOL

I am going to try the pork chop recipe. Anything thats easy. Also, you mentioned "pork steaks". I bet your from the St. Louis area? I heard the only place you can buy pork steaks is in this area.

I've heard of pork chops smothered in sauerkraut, but I didn't have any idea how you did it. This sounds soooo good....Thanks! I have to buy some sauerkraut and try it.

How long for pork meal?

Hmm... wonder if there are gluten free egg roll wrappers... as this sounds like something our group would like too, but one lady is a celiac.... Guess I could just keep her fruit separate.

Good recipes About the cauliflower, before you add the parmi, spread with 1/4 c mayonaise, 1 Tbsp regular mustard and 1/2 tsp Dark grainy mustard. Mix this together, spread on cauliflower, sprinkle with Parmi and bake for about 20 - 25 minutes. Delicious

Another trick for the cauliflower is to tuck in bits of cheddar cheese.
