These sound really good!

I do have a suggestion, though. Cover with a plate or thicker paper towel rather than plastic wrap which can release toxins when heated.

I am going to try the pork chop recipe. Anything thats easy. Also, you mentioned "pork steaks". I bet your from the St. Louis area? I heard the only place you can buy pork steaks is in this area.

We have them in the Ozarks, too. Maybe a Missouri thing?

The cauliflower recipe sounds good. Might have to try that one. Thanks for sharing.

Do you drain the sauerkraut before adding to crock pot or as is right out of the bag?

Pork steaks are in every grocery in my area. Arkansas. They are much better then pork chops, always tender and not dried out no matter how you cook them. We usually pan fry them crispy. I'm not that concerned about plastic wrap covering a glass bowl in the microwave and the egg wrappers I bought said gluten free on the label. I don't cook gluten free but I guess the wrappers all are. I cooked the layered steaks on high for about 4 hours or until the potatoes are tender. Too long and the meat falls apart.

Thanks about the cauliflower tips!
