    Homemade Bisquick

    - 4 cups all-purpose flour
    - 2 TBSP. baking powder
    - 1-1/2 tsp. salt
    - 1 cup shortening

    1) Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl.

    2) Add shortening and mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until all shortening is blended with the flour.

    3) Use the mix as you would the real thing!! Makes 6 cups!! Store in airtight container. Shelf life would probably be 6-8 mos. Enjoy!!

Thanks! I'm going to try that. I forgot to pick up a box while grocery shopping yesterday and hate the thought of going back to the store.
