Microwave Peanut Brittle
1 cp. of sugar
1/2 cp. white syrup
1-1/2 cps raw peanuts
i put this in med sz. glass bowl cook in microwave 7-8 mins.
stop on threemins stir, stop again at six mins. and stir,
then take out add 1-tsp oleo
1-tsp- vanilla
1 tsp of baking soda, stir well pour on buttered alumi.foil press as thin as you can let cool , then crack and enjoy, i've two batches so far and they are fine :) :-) :D

I've been making this for years...its a very popular gift :lol: What little bit that makes it out of the house..I have to hide it! Its good with cashews also.

ME TOO! I have run out of hiding places! My family Loves this stuff!
One thing to note if you are trying this-microwaves are different powers so the cooking times may need to be adjusted slightly.

Thanks for the recipe. Made it this afternoon and it was EASY and good. Not much left after hubby found it. :) :)

edited: P.S. I made 4 batches of this delicious candy. Everyone loved it!!

Loretta i think mine is 700 watt, just try it you may adjust time if needed
Glad you ladies tried it i had this a few years ago my hubby loves it and the kids gave him some raw peanuts thanksgiving so here we go again.
