Favorite chicken pot pie?

I have a whole uncut hen thawing and wondered what are some favorite chicken pot pie recipes?

There is a chicken pot pie recipe on here that is very easy and was great!! I don't remember who posted it...but I am sure you could find it with a search.

Here is the one I tried...very easy...was posted by belindad.....it was great. I took one to work and we had it for lunch one day....it was wonderful. Reheated in microwave. Actually if you let it cool or cut it after it has been refrigerated, it cuts better and stays together like a pie....then just reheat in microwave. Everyone raved about it and asked for the recipe.

2 cans cream of potato soup
1 (16 oz.) can Veg-All, drained
2 c. diced cooked chicken
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 (9") pie crusts (one for top)
1 egg, beaten, optional

Combine first 6 ingredients. Spoon into crust. Top with the top crust. Crimp edges to seal. Slit top crust and brush with egg if desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until crust is done. Cool 10 minutes.
I have to make 4 of these because with my family 1 is not enough an i also use deep dish pie shells.

I have an easy one:

cooked, cubed chicken
2 15 oz cans of Veg All, drained
(I add one can of green beans, drained)
2 cans of cream of mushroom or chicken or celery or combo of choice
can of crescent rolls

combine first 4 ingreds in a 9x13 pan. Top with rolled out crescent rolls. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until top is browned and ingreds are heated through.

We make this recipe all the time and it is wonderful! Quick and easy and oh so good!!!!!

These sound so good! I fixed a non-dairy, non-wheat, low potassium chicken pot pie for the first time. It was ok but I wouldn't enter it into a contest.

Chicken and noodles over real mashed potatos. Can't get better than that.

Hello, I made this last night and it was very good. Instead of using 2 cans of potato soup, I had made a pot of potato soup a couple of days ago and used that instead and it had all the seasonings in it already. Thanks for the recipe. Mary

Our favorite comes right off the Bisquick box, this recipe is the same but uses Steamers:
